Update:
Police reported Monday that Robert Moore Thomas, who was being sought in the shooting death of Edson Jones on Saturday is now in custody.
Thomas was being interviewed by Detectives Monday morning and then will be taken to the adult detention center where he will be held on probable cause of murder. Also, police said in a press release that Jones was 56 instead of 66 as was originally reported.

The Pine Bluff Police Department is in the early stages of a Homicide investigation. At 2:24 P.M., officers were called to the Beech Street Apartments at 2103 S. Beech in reference to a male having been shot. Officers located 56 year old Edson Jones, with apparent gunshot wounds, near the back of the parking lot. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
