A two-vehicle accident in Pulaski County Friday night resulted in the death of one man and injuries to another.
According to a preliminary report, Jamal Jones, 29, of Little Rock was eastbound on Cantrell Road when he made a left turn to go north into a parking lot. A 2008 Yamaha ridden by Jess Wilkins, 37, of Roland was westbound and struck the right rear passenger tire of the Dodge,
Wilkins was taken to St. Vincent Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Jones was injured and taken to Baptist Hospital.
The accident was reported at 9:09 p.m. and the death was the 195th so far this year on the state’s highways.
