The Planning and Development Committee met Tuesday evening with Mayor Shirley Washington, Council member Bruce Lockett, Council member Lloyd Holcomb and others via zoom to discuss a number of topics. The topics included in their discussion ranged from removing certain properties from the condemnation list to repairs for specific properties.
The committee addressed those properties and made several moves to accept the removal of certain properties from the condemnation list. Property owners were also advised of certain repairs that needed to be made to their condemned property. They were given 90 days to complete the repairs.
18 properties were added to the condemnation list after inspections by the Code Enforcement Department and those will be presented in the second City Council meeting on Monday, June 21st.
