Pine Bluff man accused of possessing stolen pistol given $10k bond

A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of being in possession of a pistol that had bene reported stolen.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond for Eddie Ringo, 40, after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with theft by receiving a firearm.

Reading from an affidavit by State Police Special Agent Billy McCradic, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander explained what Ringo is accused of.

Ringo was also accused of driving with a defective headlight, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and pleaded guilty to those offenses. He was told to come back to court Sept. 22.
