Turner will be held without bond after Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with capital murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

During a court hearing Wednesday, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at 2:45 a.m., police were sent to an address on West 30th Avenue in response to an unresponsive male.

Akel then read from an affidavit from Detective Jason Boykin that described the incident.

Boykin reported that detectives located Turner at his residence, and he was taken to the detective office for an interview.

Turner said he would hire his own attorney and was told to come back to court May 28.
