Pine Bluff Police Officer Amber Rhodes, who works patrol, was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center and later released on Thursday after her police cruiser struck a utility pole at the corner of Second Avenue and Walnut Street in downtown Pine Bluff.
The front end of the Dodge Charger was completely caved in, and the airbags were deployed. According to the PBPD, the accident is still under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
