Pine Bluff police are investigating two murders that happened  Sunday night and early Monday morning at separate locations. Police said they don’t believe the two murders are connected, according to a PBPD news release.

The first homicide was reported at around 11 p.m. when officers responded to the intersection of Camden Road and Union Avenue in reference to a vehicle that hit a pole.

Once on scene, officers found Antonio Urquhart inside of a vehicle with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

While on that scene at around 12:45 A.M., a shooting call went out at 5102 W. 6th Avenue, the news release said.

Officers arrived on that scene and found a male with gunshot wounds inside of the residence. The name of this victim will be released after family has been notified, police said.

“It is still early in the investigation and the detectives were still on scene at the time of this release,” police said. “Both males were pronounced deceased on scene by Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley. There is no suspect information or a known motive. Also there doesn’t seem to be a connection of the two shootings.”
