A public meeting is set for Monday in Star City to identify potential outdoor park and recreational needs and priorities.

That meeting will be held at the Star City Civic Center at 201 Liberty St., at 5:30 p.m.

After the identification process, city officials will select those priorities to be submitted to the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism for an outdoor recreation grant application.

Ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, senior citizens and special interest groups are encouraged to attend and participate.

If you can not attend the meeting, phone the Mayor’s Office at 870-628-4166 or submit written comments to P.O. Box 219, Star City, Ark., 71667
