A 27-year-old Paris, Arkansas man was killed in a two-vehicle traffic accident in Logan County just after midnight.
According to a preliminary report, Jesse W. Dyer was eastbound n State Highway 22 when the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu he was driving crossed the center line and into the path of a 2016 Semi-truck that was westbound a the time. Both vehicles moved to the east bound lane and hit head-on.
Dyer was pronounce dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 12:06 a.m. and the death was the 300th so far this year on the state’s highways.
