According to the McGehee Dermott Times-News, the McGehee School Board voted unanimously to require the use of masks indoors and on buses as a way to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The Dermott School Board also approved the wearing of masks.

The newspaper reported that schools in Monticello, Warren, Dewitt, and Lake Village are also requiring masks for students and faculty.

The Lincoln Ledger newspaper reported that the Star City School Board voted 5-2 to require masks when they met last Friday. That requirement will apply to students and faculty indoors, when social distancing can not be practiced, and on buses.
