Voters passed a 2.9 millage for the White Hall School District on Tuesday. The vote was 1,061 for the millage, while 603 voted against the millage.

The passing of the millage will allow the White Hall School District to provide safety and security updates, tornado shelters at all elementary schools, an ADA accessible entrance to the current gymnasium, safe dressing areas for all sports teams, and a fine arts facility that will give band and choir the much needed and appropriate space for their activities, freeing up space for additional industrial and agricultural classes at the high school. The millage will also allow for the replacement of industrial HVAC systems and pavement work.

Additionally, the millage will also allow the White Hall band to perform concerts on campus, in addition to allowing the White Hall JROTC to hold classes on campus.
