A North Little Rock man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Pulaski County early Wednesday morning.
According to a preliminary report, Charles Pettus, 41, was southbound on U.S. 67 at 5 a.m. when he lost control of the 2006 Dodge Viper he was driving near the six-mile marker at Sherwood. The vehicle left the roadway to the left and struck the cable barrier.
Pettus was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death was the 81st so far this year on the state’s highways.
