A 38-year-old Malvern man was killed Tuesday when he was hit by two vehicles in Grant County.
According to a preliminary report, Robert Collins walked into the southbound lane of Arkansas Highway 46 near Grant County Road 6 at Leola and was hit by the front passenger side of a 2021 GMC Sierra, then by a 2005 Dodge Ram. Both vehicles were southbound at the time.
Collins was pronounced dead at the scene by the Grant County Coroner.
The accident was reported at 6:46 p.m. and the death was the 639th reported so far this year on the state’s s highways.
