A $2,500 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of hitting a man during an altercation Sunday.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Carla Jones, 51, with second-degree domestic battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said on Sunday, police responded to a reported domestic disturbance.
Hunter said the victim, Paul Courtney, who is 60 years old, was also arrested because he struck Ms. Jones in the jaw.
Jones was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court June 12.
