A $250,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of shooting another man at a convenience store in March.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge James Morrow III, 20, with first-degree battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jesse Horton, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on March 3 at 10:22 p.m., police were sent to 2901 W. 28th Ave., the Shell Gas Station, in response to a reported shooting.
Detective Richard McCorvy identified the suspect in the shooting as James Morrow III after looking at a screen grab from video surveillance at the store.
Morrow was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court May 20.
