A $2,500 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of pointing a gun at his girlfriend and grabbing her phone while she was trying to report the incident.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ku’Von Price, 22, with aggravated assault on a family or household member and interfering with an emergency communication.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jesse Horton, Deputy Prosecutor Jim Williams said on Wednesday, Horton and other officers responded to a reported disturbance.
When Price was interviewed, he admitted having been in a verbal altercation that turned physical and that he had pulled a handgun but denied pointing it at anyone.
Price was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court June 10.
