A Jefferson County judge ordered VonKavious Briggs, 23, held without bond after finding probable cause to charge him in a deadly shooting at a Pine Bluff gas station.

Briggs faces two counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated assault. Court records show Judge John Kearney made the bond decision after a first appearance hearing.

Police say the shooting happened just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the gas station at 101 North Blake Street. Officers found two men with gunshot wounds—one near the front door, the other in the parking lot.
