A $75,000 cash only bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man who has three felony charges pending after a loaded gun was found in the vehicle the man was driving.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Traveon Arnold, 21, wit being a felon inv possession of a firearm And unauthorized use of property.

Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said Arnold has a prior felony conviction and has charges relating to violence or weapons in three separate counties.

Arnold was arrested after an Arkansas State Trooper stopped eh vehicle Arnold was driving for speeding on I530. Arnold said he did not have a driver’s license or identification in his possession and initially gave the trooper a false name. A fingerprint analysis allowed the trooper to identify him.

Kizer said a handgun with an extended magazine with 29 rounds in it was located in plain sight.

Arnold was told to come back to court Oct. 12.
