Public schools, colleges and universities in Arkansas are one week away from spring break and on Friday, Gary Williams, Superintendent of the White Hall School District was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show where he was asked about that, specifically how it is that spring break week is the same for all of them.

Williams said schools will begin testing students after spring break ends.

Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Williams if schools are spending too much time testing instead of just learning. He asked Williams if it was too much or do they go together?

Horne said he was talking more about the state mandated testing because that’s all you hear about. Are we spending too much time teaching for that test?
