19-year-old New Edinburg woman killed in Rison crash

A 19-year-old New Edinburg woman was killed early Saturday when the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and overturned in Rison, according to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash report.

The crash happened at 2:35 a.m. on Nov. 29 on Amis Street in Cleveland County.

State police said Destiny Amya Watts was driving a 2004 Toyota Camry eastbound when the vehicle left the road, struck a fire hydrant and began to overturn. Watts was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover and died from her injuries.

Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash, the report said.

No other injuries were reported.
