At is most recent meeting, the Lincoln County Quorum Court voted to transfer $250,000 from the Lincoln County American Rescue Plan Act to Unappropriated Fund to another fund to buy road graders.

Another $74,569 was transferred from the same fund into a fund for courthouse renovations that will be used for painting and other work. The Lincoln Ledger newspaper reported that the county must pay for the work before it is completed but the money will be returned to the county.

Also at the meeting, the court’s solid waste committee discussed problems at the dumpsite but offered no solutions And Count Judge Buddy Earnest plans to hold another committee meeting and to call other counties asking for information from them.

Earnest is also looking for options and quotes for the parking lad and building behind the new Health Department.
