Jefferson Regional opened a new Nephrology Clinic earlier this Spring in Pine Bluff to help those dealing with kidney disease and diabetes. Dr. Brandi Wright is a nephrologist at the clinic and joined Rick Walker on Sunrise Deltaplex to talk about diabetes.
Rick asked her if she knew when she went to medical school if that is what she wanted her emphasis to be on
Rick asked her if people could be convinced that diet and exercise would cut down on the rising rates of diabetes, and would be doing it.
Jefferson Regional has support groups for diabetes and Dr. Wright talked about their importance.
