The hours of operation for the Jefferson County Road Department will change beginning Wednesday, March 16, 2022, according to Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson.
The Road Department will work three 12-hour days. Workers will work a half day on day four with no road work being performed on that fourth day of the work week.
Robinson tells Deltaplex News that rising fuel costs are responsible for the upcoming changes.
