Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services Chief Shauwn Howell on Friday said that firefighters are excited about the new fire station located across from the Saracen Casino and Resort.
Appearing on the Oldies 101.3 morning show, Howell said;
Howell said stats for the month of October are still being compiled but there had been no signs of changes, either high or low.
With colder weather and the holidays approaching, Howell also encouraged residents to get heating units checked before cold weather really sets in.
After Pine Bluff Police Detective Kevin Collins was killed in the line of duty, firefighters got together and purchased an eagle statue which they presented to the police department in memory of Collins. Howell was asked what brought that on.
