Groundbreaking held for new White Hall Plaza

A groundbreaking was held Monday morning in White Hall next to Dairy Queen for construction of the new White Hall Plaza, which will feature two new restaurants in addition to additional shopping areas.

Moe’s Southwest Grill and Schlotzsky’s with Cinnabon will anchor the new plaza, while additional businesses to be named later will occupy the center of the 10,000 square foot, single-story plaza.

Shawn Patel, the spokesman for the Patel Family who has invested into the project, said his family wanted to bring something new to the City of White Hall.

Patel said he wanted to bring Schlotzsky’s to White Hall also agreeing to bring Moe’s Southwest Grill at the request of White Hall Mayor Noel Foster.

Construction of the plaza is expected to take approximately 8 months.
