Grant County has been hit hard by this week’s winter weather and the majority of the county has suffered damage from downed trees and power lines.
County Judge Randy Pruitt spoke with Deltaplex News on Thursday to discuss the damage he is seeing.
Pruitt said that he has been in communication with Entergy Arkansas about power restoration times, but he has not heard anything from C & L Electric, which provides power to a large portion of Grant County.
Pruitt said the biggest issue and the biggest worry in Grant County are trees that are falling, and he and his crews will be working to clear areas as quickly as they can.
