Golden Lions Fall To Southern

PINE BLUFF, Arkansas — The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions fell 27-0 to Southern at home Saturday afternoon at Simmons Bank Field.

Kierston Rogers led the Golden Lions’ ground attack, picking up 8.2 yards per carry along the way. Michael Jamerson also tacked on 30 yards on the ground.

Rico Dozier led the Golden Lions on the defensive end with 13 tackles while Rylan Woods and Cal Roetherford had eight tackles each. Kyle Knox collected three tackles and one interception in the loss.
