Delta Memorial Hospital and Delta Health Services in Dumas will conduct a free COVID-19 drive-thru screening and testing event on Tuesday, May 12 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Dumas Community Center located at 18 Belmont Street in Dumas.
Everyone is welcome to attend the clinic, and you do not have to be a UAMS patient in order to be seen.
The clinic is for anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms to include cough, fever, and shortness of breath. Not everyone who is sick needs to be tested.
UAMS physicians will evaluate you to see if you need to be tested. If you are not tested, you will be given instructions on how to take care of yourself and your family at home. If you are tested, results will take several days to come back, and you will receive a phone call about your test results.
This event is made possible with joint efforts from UAMS, Arkansas Rural Health Partnership, the City of Dumas, and Delta Memorial Hospital.
