A fourth suspect has been arrested following a police investigation into the shooting death of a man on the parking lot of Dollar Tree on East Harding Avenue on Aug. 12.

Jordan Pitts, 25, was taken into custody after he was identified by another suspect during a phone call from jail monitored by police.

During a court hearing Tuesday, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said police found the victim, Ryan Wear, with a gunshot wound to the face and he was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital where he died.

Video from a nearby business showed Ford and a second person, later identified as Pitts, get out of Wear’s vehicle and run to a white SUV that was on the parking lot.

Alexander said police located the white SUV in Altheimer where they took Gregory McGown and Javreon McGown into custody. Gregory McGown told his father, in a call from jail monitored by police, that Ford and Pitts needed to surrender.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge Pitts with capital murder and he will be held without bond.
