Chris Palmer, the Assistant Police Chief in Stuttgart, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday. Palmer served for many years in the Grant County Sheriff’s Department before making the move to Stuttgart. His obituary says that Chris cared about his community and worked hard to make it safer for it’s citizens. Palmer was 60 years old. Funeral services will be this Sunday, January 21st at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan at 3pm, with visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday. He will be buried in Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan
