County Judge Robinson spoke with Deltaplex Friday morning to discuss the current issues the city is encountering with Liberty Utilities and their recent report that was ordered by the public service commissions on the water pressure system.
Judge Robinson further expressed how this crisis exposed Liberty Utilities for not being prepared and their lack of effort to get enough forces on the ground in a timely manner.
Judge Robinson was surprised to find out that Liberty Utilities does not have a manager in Pine Bluff which, to him, showed that they don’t have a positive interest in Pine Bluff consumers.
In conclusion, Robinson expressed how Liberty Utilities tried to offer a donation in an effort to fix a problem they caused and still haven’t fully managed.
