Quranner Cotledge, who is called Q. said he spent 43 years in a variety of jobs, many of those years with the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and later with the Jefferson County Health Unit as its administrator.

Cotledge was asked why he decided to enter the race for the city council seat and answered this way.

Morning show host Greg Horne told Cotledge that current Council Member Ivan Whitfield has been a constant critic of the Go Forward Pine Bluff initiative and asked Cotledge what he thought about the initiative.

Cotledge and Whitfield’s other opponent, Lanette R. Frazier are all seeking the Democratic Party nomination for the seat in the May 24 primary. No Republican filed for the seat.
