According to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page, Deputy Paul Sims was, “seriously injured in an accident this morning on Highway 79 at the Saline River Bridge.”
The department stated that Sims is currently being treated for his injuries.
There is little information about the accident but we will provide updates as more details become available.
