On December 22, seven local organizations will host Miracle on 23rd St. in hopes to make the load a little lighter and smiles a little brighter for the holidays for the families of 23rd Street, local foster care families, and youth in the community.
The event will take place at 2310 S. Linden Street, in Pine Bluff, the old Gabe Meyers school location.
The goal is to provide three hundred individually wrapped gift items to everyday working families who cannot provide gifts for their families during this holiday season. Local vendors and event sponsors will provide entertainment, food and beverage, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, coats, toys, and gift cards for infants through teenagers.
Sponsors of Miracle on 23rd St. include IMPACT Kids Academy, All God’s Children Outreach, Inc. I AM Girls Empowerment Inc., YBL, Youth Basketball League; Delta Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; First Sister’s Outreach and CP Foundation and Consulting Group.NOTE: Face painting has been changed to ornament painting.
