Last week, the Pine Bluff City Council unanimously approved the 2022 city budget. On Wednesday, interim Police Chief Lloyd Franklin Sr., was asked about that budget, particularly what it does for the department.
Franklin was also asked if there is money in the budget to pay for things like cameras and new police cars.
On another subject, Franklin said he and other members of his command staff sat in on a meeting with the Police Chief of Little Rock and some of his commanders last week to compare notes, and they will sit in on another meeting Thursday. Franklin was asked what came out of that meeting.
