For the month of June, the Saracen Casino and Resort paid just over $1.822 million dollars in total taxes, according to the most recent figures from the Arkansas Gaming Commission. That figure is based on a total net win of $14,020,446 and is 13 percent of the total.

Of that, the state gets 55 percent and another 17.5 percent is paid to the state and then redistributed to Oaklawn and Southland for racing purses. Jefferson County receives 8 percent and the City of Pine Bluff 19.5 percent.

The report showed that total terminal wagers were $164.75 million and pay outs of $152.053 million, meaning a net win of $12.698 million and a winning percentage of 7.71 %.

Sportsbook payout accounted for another $862,043, with a net winning of $117,479 and taxes on the sportsbook net wins of 13% or 20% accounting for total taxes of $15,272.

Oaklawn Park paid $1.628 million in taxes on net wins of $12,529,378 while Southland paid taxes of $3,258,309 on net winnings of $16,291,549.
