Fisher House, which provides housing for active duty and veteran’s families while a loved one is in the hospital, will be opening their first facility in the state. It will be located in Little Rock on the north side of the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital later this year. Aside from providing free, short term lodging for vets families, Fisher House also offers a support system. To stay at Fisher House, you have to live farther than 50 miles from a VA facility where your loved one is getting care. You can support the Little Rock facility or others at www.fisherhouse.org
