The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating another homicide. On Thursday, June 10, 2021, at about 9:08 P.M., officers responded to the apartment complex at 2200 S. Hazel in reference to a shooting. The officers located 43 year old Kevin Brazell with apparent gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot near the Northeast corner of the apartment building. Brazell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Forty-eight year old Vincent Peal was arrested at the scene for the murder. He was interviewed by detectives and will be booked in the Jefferson County jail for 1st degree murder.
This is the 12th homicide for Pine Bluff this year.
