A Little Rock man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on I-530 in rural Pulaski County Thursday morning.
According to a preliminary report, Edgar Levell Johnson, 40, was northbound near the 16-mile marker when the 2009 Lexus he was driving left the roadway to the right while negotiating a curve and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 3:05 a.m. and the death was the 118th so far this year on the state’s highways.
