A $15k bond was set for a man accused of threatening his roommate

A $15,000 bond was set Tuesday for a White Hall man accused of threatening his roommate with a knife on Sunday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Shaik Rasol, 29, with aggravated assault on a family or household member, second-degree battery and terroristic threatening.

Deputy Prosecutor Katelyn Phillips explained the allegations during the court hearing.

Rasol was ordered to have no contact with his roommate and told to come back to court Aug. 27.
