The Pine Bluff School District Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, July 27, with several items scheduled for consideration ahead of the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Jordan-Chanay Boardroom.
Board members are expected to receive several reports from district administration, including updates on academics and the district’s reading initiative, staffing and student enrollment, the student handbook, community engagement, and facilities and transportation. A financial report is also on the agenda.
Under new business, the board will consider approving addendums to the 2026-27 Student Handbook, a resolution involving district banking accounts, authorization for electronic funds transfers and new vehicle insurance.
The board is also scheduled to consider personnel recommendations before adjourning.
The agenda includes time for public comments near the beginning of the meeting.
