A Hot Springs man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday evening in Jefferson County, according to the Arkansas State Police.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. on April 10 on State Highway 54 near Wallace Road in Pine Bluff.
Authorities identified the victim as 60-year-old Rodney Edgin of Hot Springs. Edgin was the driver of a 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Arkansas State Police preliminary report, the motorcycle was traveling westbound when it attempted to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline and entered a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn.
No other injuries were reported.
Officials said weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash.
