Arts and Science Center Showcases Youth Talent in Lion King Jr Production

The Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is in the middle of its production of the Lion King Jr., with shows Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday, Bethany Gere from the center was joined by supporter Scott Robinson on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show to talk about the production.

Gere said the show runs an hour and is a shortened version of the original movie.

Robinson was asked to talk about the Arts and Science Center itself.

Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Gere to talk about the kids in the play.

Gere went on to say that there were more than 50 young people who tried out for the play.
