A 21-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Friday night at a Pine Bluff convenience store, according to authorities.
Officers with the Pine Bluff Police Department responded just after 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 to Two Brothers One Stop, located at 2215 S. Blake St., in reference to a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Markeise Gipson lying unresponsive in the parking lot near the building. Gipson had apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other males were also struck by gunfire during the incident. Both were transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Police said the victims taken to the hospital were last reported to be in stable condition with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigators said the suspects were driving a gray wide-body Dodge Charger with a black roof, spoiler and hood scoop.
The motive behind the shooting remains undetermined. The case is in the early stages of investigation, and no additional information has been released.
