A Corning man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Greene County Sunday.
According to a preliminary report, David M. Crawford Jr., 28, was southbound on Arkansas Highway 135 when the 2003 Jeep Liberty he was driving traveled off the right side of the roadway while negotiating a curve, then struck a telephone pole and overturned.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 12:30 a.m. at Oak Grove and the death was the 54th of the year on the state’s highways.
