A report of a disturbance Thursday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a White Hall man who allegedly pointed a gun at another man.

John Clark, 37, was taken into custody after police were sent to the area of Crestwood and Faucett Road at 2:24 p.m.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Tamina Smith, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King explained what the police found.

King said when police questioned Clark, they asked him if he had a gun and he pulled a 38-caliber revolver out of his pocket.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Clark after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court June 22.
