Watson Chapel School Board hires head baseball coach; Several teachers and administrators

The Watson Chapel School Board voted unanimously to name former Pine Bluff High School and UAPB Golden Lions pitcher Brandon Little as the next head baseball coach of the Watson Chapel Wildcats at a special called meeting on Tuesday night.

Little, who recently graduated from UAPB, has also served as a private baseball instructor to area baseball players in recent years while he completed his collegiate career.

Watson Chapel Superintendent Tom Wilson gave his thoughts on the decision to hire Little.

Little will also serve as an assistant football coach for the junior high and senior high programs.

The board also voted to hire several teachers during the meeting. Those teachers are named below:

Lakeisha Higgins – Coleman Elementary Counselor

Vanessa Taylor – Coleman Elementary Teacher

Peggy Matlock – Coleman Elementary Teacher

Mark Smith – Coleman Elementary Teacher

Janice Soto – Coleman Elementary Teacher

Kaden Wall – Junior High ELA

Mitzy Allen – High School Social Studies

Shaneka Anderson – High School Science

Kalan Davis – High School Behavioral

Tyesha Uchendu – Junior High Behavioral

Felecia Shelton – Edgewood Elementary Behavioral

Rachel Flewellen – High School Science

Clifton Lewis – High School Dean of Students

Erica Maulden – Junior High Assistant Principal

Anna Anderson – Special Education Director

Quadrea Turner – Senior Cheer & Steppers

Shala Jordan – Junior High Pom Squad
