Due to the winter weather conditions in the Deltaplex, Pine Bluff Mayor Shirley Washington mentioned that there have been a few fallen trees and power outages but with the help of the Pine Bluff Street Department and Entergy those areas are or have already been recovered. Washington joined the Oldies 1013 morning show Thursday and host Greg Horne mentioned that the main streets were clear despite the conditions.

Washington went on to say this.

On the subject of supplies for the street department, Washington was asked if they would need to reload soon, and she answered this way.

She also explained that Entergy has been staked out since Wednesday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center to assist with power outages until Thursday Afternoon when they will travel to other counties that are facing larger outages.

Washington stated that the Pine Bluff City Hall and city buildings will open and resume normal operations Friday, Feb 3rd at 8 am.
