Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week Jason Duren was joined by Barbara Goodwin, the co-program director of Helping Hands, the United Way’s volunteer agency.
Goodwin talked about Helping Hands and what they are doing.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked her about their newest project.
Horne also asked about the deadline for bringing in the peanut butter and talked about his favorite way to eat peanut butter.
To get involved with Helping Hands, volunteers must be at least 50 years old and volunteer at least four hours a month.
