A United Way of Southeast Arkansas partner Agency Delta Network Foodbank is taking care of our school children by continuing their very important “Backpack Program”.
Each school has a list of students that receive a backpack of food each weekend to help with the child’s food insecurity in their homes. It is priority to make sure that these students continue to receive the food that they have become reliant on for health and well-being.
Delta Network Foodbank wants all children in the pre-existing lists that are already receiving these supplement’s to know that their back packs will continue to be available through the current situation of school closings until schools are reopened.

Watson Chapel High School, Watson Chapel Jr. High, L.L. Owen Elementary – Pick up at Watson Chapel High School Thursday 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Edgewood Elementary – Pick up at Edgewood Elementary Thursday 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Coleman Intermediate – Pick up at Coleman Intermedia Thursday 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Broadmoor Elementary – Pick up at Broadmoor Elementary Thursday 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
